To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Economics department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

Education and Political Science


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Education and Political Science department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

  • Government / History, and


  • three (3) other subjects.



Educational Management


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Educational Management department.


  • Level NTC/NBC credit passes, or


  • TC II merit including,


  • English Language,


  • Level pass in Mathematics, and


  • any other relevant subject.



Marketing (MKT)


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Marketing (MKT) department.

  • any three (3) relevant subjects.



Business Education


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Business Education department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:


  • English Language,


  • Mathematics,


  • Economics, and two (2) other subjects in the Social Sciences or Arts.


  • For NBC, the other subjects could be from any of the following:


  • Commerce, Office Practice, Principles of Accounts,


  • Secretarial Duties, Typewriting and Shorthand.



Political Science and Conflict Resolution

To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Political Science and Conflict Resolution department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:


  • English Language,

  • at least a pass in Mathematics.
