To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Biology department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:

  • English Language,

  • Biology,

  • Chemistry,

  • Mathematics / Physics and

  • any one other relevant subject.

Soil Science

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Soil Science department.

Software Engineering

Computer Engineering

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Computer Engineering department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

  • Further Mathematics,

  • Chemistry, and

  • Physics.

Agricultural Engineering (AE)

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Agricultural Engineering (AE) department.

  • English Language,

  • Mathematics,

  • Physics,

  • Chemistry and

  • Any one other subject from:
    Introduction to Agricultural Science,
    Materials and Workshop Process and Machining,
    Tractor Layout Power Unit Under Carriage and Auto Electricity;
    Transmission System;
    Implement and Machine;
    Principles of Crop Husbandry and Land Use,
    Materials and Workshop Processes;
    Construction and Maintenance of Agricultural Machines;
    General Metal Work;
    General Wood Work and Building / Engineering Drawing.

Quantity Surveying (QS)

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Quantity Surveying (QS) department.

  • English Language,

  • Mathematics,

  • Physics,

  • Chemistry and

  • any of Fine Art, Geography or Wood Work, Biology, Economics, Technical Drawing, Further. Mathematics, Introduction to Building Construction, Bricklaying / Block laying, Concreting, Wall, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Joinery, Carpentary, Decorative Painting, Lining, Sign and Design, Wall Hanging, Colour Mixing / Matching and Glazing, Ceramics, Graphics Design, Graphic Printing, Basic Electricity.
