Food Science and Technology (FT)

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Food Science and Technology (FT) department.

  • English Language,

  • Mathematics,

  • Chemistry,

  • any two (2) other relevant subject from;

  • Biology / Agricultural Science, Physics, Basic Catering and Food Services, Bakery and Confectionaries,

  • Hotel

Soil Science

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Soil Science department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

  • Chemistry,

  • Biology / Agricultural Science and

  • any other Science subject.

Crop Science

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Crop Science department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

  • Biology/Agricultural Science,

  • Chemistry,

  • Mathematics,

  • one Science/Social Science subject and

  • at least a pass in Physics is required.

Building Technology (BT)

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Building Technology (BT) department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

  • Mathematics,

  • English Language,

  • Physics, Chemistry and

  • any one of

  • Geography, Economics, Arts and Technical drawing.

  • For holders of NTC, the other relevant subjects could be; Intro. to Building Construction, Bricklaying, Concreting, Walls, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Building / Engineering Drawing, Joinery, Carpentry, Gas, Steam Work and Bronze Welding, Cold / Hot Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage.

Chemistry

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Chemistry department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

  • English Language,

  • Mathematics,

  • Physics,

  • Chemistry, and

  • Biology.

Cyber Security

SSCE Requirements
