Building

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Building department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:

  • Mathematics,

  • English Language,

  • Physics, Chemistry,

  • and any one of

  • Geography, Economics, Arts and Technical drawing.

  • For holders of NTC, the other relevant subjects could be;
    Intro. to Building Construction, Bricklaying, Concreting, Walls, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Building / Engineering Drawing, Joinery, Carpentry, Gas, Steam Work and Bronze Welding, Cold / Hot Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage.

Education and Biology

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Education and Biology department.

  • English Language,

  • Biology,

  • Chemistry,

  • Mathematics, and

  • one (1) other subject.

Technology and Vocational Education

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Technology and Vocational Education department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

  • Mathematics or NTC/NBC,

  • English Language and

  • any three (3) other relevant subjects.

Mathematics and Statistics

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Mathematics and Statistics department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
