  • any two subjects from:


  • Biology, Fine Art, Chemistry, History, English Language, Geography, Further Mathematics, Economics / Commerce, Religious Knowledge, Technical Drawing and Business Method.


  • At least a pass in Fine Art or Technical Drawing.



Food Technology


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Food Technology department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

  • any two of the following:

To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Urban and Regional Planning (URP) department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:


  • English Language,

  • Geography,


  • and any two (2) of


  • Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Government, Biology, Art, History, IRK/CRK, Social Studies and Tech Drawing.



Building Technology (BT)


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Building Technology (BT) department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:


  • Mathematics,


  • English Language,


  • Physics, Chemistry and


  • any one of


  • Geography, Economics, Arts and Technical drawing.


  • For holders of NTC, the other relevant subjects could be; Intro. to Building Construction, Bricklaying, Concreting, Walls, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Building / Engineering Drawing, Joinery, Carpentry, Gas, Steam Work and Bronze Welding, Cold / Hot Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage.



Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology department.


  • English Language,


  • Mathematics,


  • Physics and


  • any three of the following:


  • Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Technical Drawing Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Further Mathematics, Food and Nutrition and Geography.
