SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Building Technology (BT) department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

  • Mathematics,

  • English Language,

  • Physics, Chemistry and

  • any one of

  • Geography, Economics, Arts and Technical drawing.

  • For holders of NTC, the other relevant subjects could be; Intro. to Building Construction, Bricklaying, Concreting, Walls, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Building / Engineering Drawing, Joinery, Carpentry, Gas, Steam Work and Bronze Welding, Cold / Hot Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage.

Nutrition and Dietetics

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Nutrition and Dietetics department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:

  • English Language,

  • Chemistry,

  • Mathematics,

  • Physics and

  • Biology/Agricultural Science.

Statistics

  • For Marine Engineering and Industrial Safety & Environmental Engineering a pass in Biology is required.
