SSCE Requirements

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Building Technology (BT) department.

  • Mathematics,

  • English Language,

  • Physics, Chemistry and

  • any one of

  • Geography, Economics, Arts and Technical drawing.

  • For holders of NTC, the other relevant subjects could be; Intro. to Building Construction, Bricklaying, Concreting, Walls, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Building / Engineering Drawing, Joinery, Carpentry, Gas, Steam Work and Bronze Welding, Cold / Hot Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage.

Chemistry

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Chemistry department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

  • English Language,

  • Mathematics,

  • Physics,

  • Chemistry, and

Industrial Chemistry
