Chemical Engineering

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Chemical Engineering department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

  • English Language,

  • Mathematics,

  • Physics,

  • Chemistry, and

  • any other Science subject.

Building

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Building department.

  • Mathematics,

  • English Language,

  • Physics, Chemistry,

  • and any one of

  • Geography, Economics, Arts and Technical drawing.

  • For holders of NTC, the other relevant subjects could be;
    Intro. to Building Construction, Bricklaying, Concreting, Walls, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Building / Engineering Drawing, Joinery, Carpentry, Gas, Steam Work and Bronze Welding, Cold / Hot Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage.

Crop Production

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Crop Production department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

  • Biology / Agricultural Science,

  • Mathematics,

  • Chemistry,

  • one Science/Social Science subject and

  • at least ‘O’ Level pass in Physics.

Agricultural and Bioresources Engineering

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Agricultural and Bioresources Engineering department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

  • English Language,

  • Mathematics,

  • Physics, Chemistry

  • and any one (1) from

  • Introduction to Agricultural Science, Materials and Workshop Process and Machining, Tractor Layout Power Unit Under Carriage and Auto Electricity; Transmission System; Implement and Machine;

  • Principles of Crop Husbandry and Land Use, Materials and Workshop Processes; Construction and Maintenance of Agricultural Machines; General Metal Work; General Wood Work and Building / Engineering Drawing.

Computer Science (CS)

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Computer Science (CS) department.

  • English Language,
