Agricultural Engineering (AE)

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Agricultural Engineering (AE) department.

  • English Language,

  • Mathematics,

  • Physics,

  • Chemistry and

  • Any one other subject from:
    Introduction to Agricultural Science,
    Materials and Workshop Process and Machining,
    Tractor Layout Power Unit Under Carriage and Auto Electricity;
    Transmission System;
    Implement and Machine;
    Principles of Crop Husbandry and Land Use,
    Materials and Workshop Processes;
    Construction and Maintenance of Agricultural Machines;
    General Metal Work;
    General Wood Work and Building / Engineering Drawing.

Science Laboratory Technology (SLT)

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

  • English Language

  • Mathematics

  • Any two (2) subjects from: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Agricultural Science / Health Science
