To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Building department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:

  • Physics, Chemistry,

  • and any one of

  • Geography, Economics, Arts and Technical drawing.

  • For holders of NTC, the other relevant subjects could be;
    Intro. to Building Construction, Bricklaying, Concreting, Walls, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Building / Engineering Drawing, Joinery, Carpentry, Gas, Steam Work and Bronze Welding, Cold / Hot Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage.

Metalwork / Woodwork Technology Education

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Metalwork / Woodwork Technology Education department.

  • English Language,

  • Mathematics,

  • Physics / Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science;

  • and two (2) from

  • Physics / Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science;

  • General Science / Integrated Science, Technical Drawing / Fine Art, Health Science Food and Nutrition, Geography, Physical and Health Education, Auto Technical, Building, Electrical Electronic, Metal Work and Wood Work.
