Building Technology (BT)

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Building Technology (BT) department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

  • Mathematics,

  • English Language,

  • Physics, Chemistry and

  • any one of

  • Geography, Economics, Arts and Technical drawing.

  • For holders of NTC, the other relevant subjects could be; Intro. to Building Construction, Bricklaying, Concreting, Walls, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Building / Engineering Drawing, Joinery, Carpentry, Gas, Steam Work and Bronze Welding, Cold / Hot Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage.

Architectural Technology

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Architectural Technology department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

  • English Language,

  • Mathematics,

  • Physics and

  • any two subjects from:

  • Biology, Fine Art, Chemistry, History, English Language, Geography, Further Mathematics, Economics / Commerce, Religious Knowledge, Technical Drawing and Business Method.

  • At least a pass in Fine Art or Technical Drawing.

Mineral Resources Engineering Technology

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Mineral Resources Engineering Technology department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

  • English Language,

  • Mathematics,

  • Physics, Chemistry and

  • any one (1) subject from:

  • Biology/Agricultural Science,
