To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Fine and Applied Arts department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:


  • English Language,


  • Mathematics, Fine Arts and


  • two (2) other relevant subjects.


  • For NTC the other two (2) relevant subjects could be from any of the following:


  • Graphic Painting, Ceramics, Basic Electricity, Building/Engineering/Environmental/Technology Drawing,


  • Decorative Painting, Spray Painting, Lining, Sign and Design, Wall Handling, Colour Mixing/Matching and Glazing.



African and Asian Studies


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the African and Asian Studies department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:


  • Igbo,


  • English Language and


  • any other Arts subject and
