To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Building department under Faculty of Built Environment.

Food Science and Technology (FT)

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Food Science and Technology (FT) department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

  • Mathematics,

  • Chemistry,

  • any two (2) other relevant subject from;

  • Biology / Agricultural Science, Physics, Basic Catering and Food Services, Bakery and Confectionaries,

To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Quantity Surveying (QS) department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

  • English Language,

  • Chemistry and

  • any of Fine Art, Geography or Wood Work, Biology, Economics, Technical Drawing, Further. Physics With Electronics

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Physics With Electronics department.

  • English Language,

  • Physics,

  • Chemistry,

  • Mathematics, and

  • any other Science subject from Further Mathematics and Biology / Agricultural Science.
