Computer Science (CS)

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Computer Science (CS) department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

  • English Language,

  • Physics,

  • Mathematics, and

  • any two (2) other Science subjects.

Animal Production

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Animal Production department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

  • Biology / Agricultural Science.

Actuarial Science

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Actuarial Science department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:

  • Economics plus

  • any other two (2) relevant subjects.

Building

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Building department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

  • Mathematics,

  • English Language,

  • Physics, Chemistry,

  • and any one of

  • Geography, Economics, Arts and Technical drawing.

  • For holders of NTC, the other relevant subjects could be;
    Intro. to Building Construction, Bricklaying, Concreting, Walls, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Building / Engineering Drawing, Joinery, Carpentry, Gas, Steam Work and Bronze Welding, Cold / Hot Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage.

Physical and Health Education

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Physical and Health Education department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

  • English Language,

  • Mathematics,

  • Biology or its equivalent

  • and any two (2) other relevant subjects.

Physics

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Physics department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

  • English Language,
