To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Economics department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:

  • any two (2) of Arts or Social Science subjects.



Business Education


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Business Education department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:


  • English Language,


  • Mathematics,


  • Economics, and two (2) other subjects in the Social Sciences or Arts.


  • For NBC, the other subjects could be from any of the following:


  • Commerce, Office Practice, Principles of Accounts,


  • Secretarial Duties, Typewriting and Shorthand.



Guidance and Counselling


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Guidance and Counselling department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:


  • English Language,


  • ‘O’ Level pass in Mathematics, and


  • any three other relevant subjects.
