Building

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Building department.

  • Mathematics,

  • English Language,

  • Physics, Chemistry,

  • and any one of

  • Geography, Economics, Arts and Technical drawing.

  • For holders of NTC, the other relevant subjects could be;
    Intro. to Building Construction, Bricklaying, Concreting, Walls, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Building / Engineering Drawing, Joinery, Carpentry, Gas, Steam Work and Bronze Welding, Cold / Hot Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage.

Physics

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Physics department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

  • English Language,

  • Physics,

  • Chemistry, Mathematics and

  • any other Science subject from

  • Further Mathematics, and

  • Biology / Agricultural Science.

Health Education

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Health Education department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

  • English Language,

  • Biology,

  • Mathematics, and

  • any two (2) other relevant subjects.

Food Engineering

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Food Engineering department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

  • Mathematics,

  • Chemistry,

  • Physics,

  • Biology and

  • English Language.

Forestry and Wildlife

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Forestry and Wildlife department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
