  • Biology / Agricultural Science,

  • any two of the following:


  • Geography, Food and Nutrition, Economics, Technical Drawing, Physics, Chemistry, Nigerian Language and Home Economics.

SSCE Requirements


To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Surveying and Geoinformatics department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:


  • English Language,

  • any one (1) from


  • Joinery, Carpentry, Decorative Painting, Lining, Sign & Design, Wall Hanging, Colour Mixing / Matching & Glazing, Ceramics, Graphics Design, Graphic Printing, Basic Electricity,


  • Fine Art, Geography or Wood Work, Biology, Economics, Technical Drawing, Further Mathematics, Introduction to Building Construction, Bricklaying / Block Laying, Concreting, Wall, Floors and Ceiling Finishing.



Building Technology (BT)


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Building Technology (BT) department.


  • Mathematics,


  • English Language,


  • Physics, Chemistry and


  • any one of


  • Geography, Economics, Arts and Technical drawing.


  • For holders of NTC, the other relevant subjects could be; Intro. to Building Construction, Bricklaying, Concreting, Walls, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Building / Engineering Drawing, Joinery, Carpentry, Gas, Steam Work and Bronze Welding, Cold / Hot Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage.



Computer Engineering

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Computer Engineering department.

  • Further Mathematics,


  • Chemistry, and
