To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Creative and Visual Arts department under Faculty of Arts and Humanities, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:

  • General Wood work, Building / Engineering Drawing, Introduction to Building Construction, Decorative Painting, Spray Painting, Lining, Sign and Design, Wall hanging, Colour Mixing / Matching and Glazing,


  • Printing Origination, Machine Printing and Finishing, General Metal Work, Basic Electricity, Spinning, Weaving, Surface Design and Printing, Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing, Graphic Design, Graphic Printing and Ceramics.


JAMB Subject Combination


  • Use of English,


  • Fine Arts and


  • two (2) other Arts subjects or Social Science subjects.


ABSU Cut-Off Mark for Creative and Visual Arts


The general UTME cut-off mark is 180, but due to the variation of Creative and Visual Arts cut-off mark depending on the admission year and competition level, we suggest you enquire about the recent JAMB UTME cut-off mark from ABSU Officials. However, to improve your admission chances:
