Quantity Surveying (QS)

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Quantity Surveying (QS) department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:

  • English Language,

  • Mathematics,

  • Physics,

  • Chemistry and

  • any of Fine Art, Geography or Wood Work, Biology, Economics, Technical Drawing, Further. Mathematics, Introduction to Building Construction, Bricklaying / Block laying, Concreting, Wall, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Joinery, Carpentary, Decorative Painting, Lining, Sign and Design, Wall Hanging, Colour Mixing / Matching and Glazing, Ceramics, Graphics Design, Graphic Printing, Basic Electricity.

Forestry Technology

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Forestry Technology department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

  • Mathematics,

  • Physics,

  • Chemistry and

  • any two subjects from:

  • Biology/Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work,

  • Woodwork (for Civil Engineering Tech.), Further Mathematics, English Language, Geography and Economics/Commerce.

Production Technology

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Production Technology department.

  • Biology/Agricultural Science,

  • Mathematics, Chemistry,

  • English Language and

  • any other relevant subject from the following:

  • Geography,

  • Economics,

  • Food and Nutrition,

  • Technical Drawing, Physics,

  • Nigerian Language, Home Economics.

Science Laboratory Technology (SLT)

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:

  • English Language

  • Mathematics

  • Any two (2) subjects from: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Agricultural Science / Health Science

  • Any other two (2) relevant subjects (Technical Drawing, Metal / Wood Work, Basic Electricity, Geography, Further Mathematics, and Fine Art)

Architectural Technology

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Architectural Technology department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

  • English Language,

  • Mathematics,

  • Physics and

  • any two subjects from:

  • Biology, Fine Art, Chemistry, History, English Language, Geography, Further Mathematics, Economics / Commerce, Religious Knowledge, Technical Drawing and Business Method.

  • At least a pass in Fine Art or Technical Drawing.

Urban and Regional Planning (URP)
