Civil Engineering Technology

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Civil Engineering Technology department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

  • English Language,

  • Mathematics,

  • Physics, Chemistry and

  • any one other subject from:

  • Biology/Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Woodwork (for Civil Engineering Tech.), Further Mathematics, English Language, Geography and Economics/Commerce.

To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Computer Science (CS) department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

  • English Language,

  • Physics,

  • Mathematics, and

  • any two (2) other Science subjects.

Quantity Surveying (QS)

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Quantity Surveying (QS) department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

  • English Language,

  • Mathematics,

  • Physics,

  • Chemistry and

  • any of Fine Art, Geography or Wood Work, Biology, Economics, Technical Drawing, Further. To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Forestry Technology department.
