To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) department under Faculty of Science, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:

  • Mathematics


  • Any two (2) subjects from: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Agricultural Science / Health Science


  • Any other two (2) relevant subjects (Technical Drawing, Metal / Wood Work, Basic Electricity, Geography, Further Mathematics, and Fine Art)

  • Any other three (3) relevant subjects (Mathematics, Biology / Agricultural Science, or Physics)
