Admission Requirements for Chinese Studies When Accredited in American University of Nigeria (AUN)


O’Level Requirements


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Chinese Studies department under Faculty of Arts and Humanities.


  • Programme A Requires: English Language,


  • French and


  • any other three (3) relevant subjects.


  • While,


  • Programme B Requires: English Language and


  • four (4) other relevant subjects.


JAMB Subject Combination


  • Programme A Requires: Use of English,

  • any other two (2) relevant subjects.

  • three (3) other relevant subjects.


AUN Cut-Off Mark for Chinese Studies


The general UTME cut-off mark is 180, but due to the variation of Chinese Studies cut-off mark depending on the admission year and competition level, we suggest you enquire about the recent JAMB UTME cut-off mark from AUN Officials. However, to improve your admission chances:


  • Aim for 180+ score.


  • Perform well in Post-UTME screening.
