The delivery robot is designed with raspberry pi board to ensure the complete robot working. The robot is controlled by a 4 wheel drive and remotely controlled via a RF remote. Also the bot has an upper section to carry packages on it that can be opened only by intended recipients. This anti theft mechanism eliminates the risk of any robot thefts and ensure human like delivery. The aim of the study is to design and construct an Autonomous Theft Proof Delivery Robot for Food and Ecommerce. In achieving this aim, the following specific objectives were laid out to develop a robot cart to deliver food on road side and airplane and construct Theft Proof Delivery Robot Ecommerce food Delivery Robot. Primary data were collected from the primary source which questionnaire was used as an instrument of data collection while secondary data were sources from textbooks, journals, newspapers and the internet were employed. Autonomous Delivery Robots (ADRs) benefits could include cheaper costs of delivery for businesses, faster service to customers, energy conservation and sustainability, safety for delivery personnel, and accuracy delivering the right package to the right customer. Future research efforts should analyze alternative SADR deployments and scenarios as well as a deeper analysis of the tradeoffs and problems generated by shifting freight road traffic to sidewalks. Given the explosive growth of the package delivery industry and the shift towards one-day and same day (even 1-hour) deliveries, these issues are likely to become even more relevant in the near future.
