Departmental JAMB UTME Subject Combination@SparklynServices |
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is an examination body in Nigeria that conducts the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for prospective undergraduates into Nigerian universities. Candidates typically choose four subjects relevant to their desired course of study. English Language is compulsory, and the other three subjects depend on the candidate's chosen course. The exam is scored out of 400 marks. Each subject carries 100 marks, and candidates need to score at least 180 to be eligible for admission into most universities. Some institutions and courses might have higher cut-off marks. UTME results are valid for one year. Candidates use these results to apply for admission into Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.
