  • For Marine Engineering and Industrial Safety & Environmental Engineering a pass in Biology is required.



Food Technology


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Food Technology department.


  • English Language,


  • Biology / Agricultural Science,


  • Mathematics and


  • any two of the following:


  • Geography, Food and Nutrition, Economics, Technical Drawing, Physics, Chemistry, Nigerian Language and Home Economics.


  • At least a pass in Chemistry is required.



Science Laboratory Technology (SLT)


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:


  • English Language


  • Mathematics


  • Any two (2) subjects from: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Agricultural Science / Health Science


  • Any other two (2) relevant subjects (Technical Drawing, Metal / Wood Work, Basic Electricity, Geography, Further Mathematics, and Fine Art)



Quantity Surveying (QS)


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Quantity Surveying (QS) department.


  • English Language,


  • Mathematics,


  • Physics,


  • Chemistry and


  • any of Fine Art, Geography or Wood Work, Biology, Economics, Technical Drawing, Further. Mathematics, Introduction to Building Construction, Bricklaying / Block laying, Concreting, Wall, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Joinery, Carpentary, Decorative Painting, Lining, Sign and Design, Wall Hanging, Colour Mixing / Matching and Glazing, Ceramics, Graphics Design, Graphic Printing, Basic Electricity.



Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology

To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:


  • English Language,


  • Mathematics,


  • Physics and


  • any three of the following:
