SSCE Requirements

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Building Technology (BT) department.

  • Physics, Chemistry and

  • any one of

  • Geography, Economics, Arts and Technical drawing.

  • For holders of NTC, the other relevant subjects could be; Intro. to Building Construction, Bricklaying, Concreting, Walls, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Building / Engineering Drawing, Joinery, Carpentry, Gas, Steam Work and Bronze Welding, Cold / Hot Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage.

Agricultural Engineering (AE)

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Agricultural Engineering (AE) department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

  • English Language,

  • Mathematics,

  • Physics,

  • Chemistry and

  • Any one other subject from:
    Introduction to Agricultural Science,
    Materials and Workshop Process and Machining,
    Tractor Layout Power Unit Under Carriage and Auto Electricity;
    Transmission System;
    Implement and Machine;
    Principles of Crop Husbandry and Land Use,
    Materials and Workshop Processes;
    Construction and Maintenance of Agricultural Machines;
    General Metal Work;
    General Wood Work and Building / Engineering Drawing.

Environmental Management and Toxicology

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Environmental Management and Toxicology department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

  • English Language,

  • Mathematics,

  • Physics,

  • Chemistry and

  • Biology.

Chemical Engineering

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Chemical Engineering department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Petroleum Chemistry department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
