O’Level Requirements


To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Automobile Technology Education department under Faculty of Education, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:


  • English Language,


  • Mathematics


  • and one (1) of


  • Biology /Agricultural Science, Physics, or Chemistry and


  • two (2) from General Science / Integrated Science, Technical Drawing / Fine Art, Geography, Health Science Food and Nutrition, Physical and Health Education, Auto Technical, Building, Electrical Electronic, Metal Work and Wood Work.


JAMB Subject Combination


  • Use of English,


  • Math,


  • Physics and


  • any other subject.


ESUT Cut-Off Mark for Automobile Technology Education


The general UTME cut-off mark is 180, but due to the variation of Automobile Technology Education cut-off mark depending on the admission year and competition level, we suggest you enquire about the recent JAMB UTME cut-off mark from ESUT Officials. However, to improve your admission chances:

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Education and Computer Science department.


  • Mathematics,


  • English Language, and


  • three (3) other relevant Science subjects.



2. Building


To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Building department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:


  • Mathematics,


  • English Language,


  • Physics, Chemistry,


  • and any one of


  • Geography, Economics, Arts and Technical drawing.


  • For holders of NTC, the other relevant subjects could be;
    Intro. to Building Construction, Bricklaying, Concreting, Walls, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Building / Engineering Drawing, Joinery, Carpentry, Gas, Steam Work and Bronze Welding, Cold / Hot Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage.



3. Geography and Meteorology


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Geography and Meteorology department.



4. Biochemistry


To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Biochemistry department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
