Admission Requirements for Nautical Science When Accredited in Enugu State University of Science & Technology (ESUT)


O’Level Requirements


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Nautical Science department under Faculty of Maritime Studies.

ESUT Cut-Off Mark for Nautical Science

2. Architecture


To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Architecture department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:


  • English Language,


  • Physics,


  • Mathematics, and


  • any one (1) of


  • Fine Art, Geography or Wood Work, Biology, Economics, Technical Drawing, Further Mathematics, Introduction to Building Construction, Bricklaying / Block laying, Concreting, Wall,


  • Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Joinery, Carpentary, Decorative Painting, Lining, Sign and Design, Wall Hanging, Colour Mixing / Matching and Glazing, Ceramics, Graphics Design, Graphic Printing, and Basic Electricity




3. Computer Science (CS)


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Computer Science (CS) department.

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Education and Biology department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
