To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Fine Arts and Design department under Faculty of Arts and Humanities, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:

  • General Wood work, Building/Engineering Drawing,


  • Introduction to Building Construction, Decorative Painting,


  • Spray Painting, Lining, Sign and Design, Wall hanging, Colour Mixing/Matching and Glazing,


  • Printing Origination, Machine Printing and Finishing, General Metal Work, Basic Electricity, Spinning, Weaving,


  • Surface Design and Printing, Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing, Graphic Design, Graphic Printing and Ceramics.


JAMB Subject Combination


  • Use of English,


  • Fine Arts and


  • two (2) other Arts subjects or Social Science subjects.


FULAFIA Cut-Off Mark for Fine Arts and Design


The general UTME cut-off mark is 180, but due to the variation of Fine Arts and Design cut-off mark depending on the admission year and competition level, we suggest you enquire about the recent JAMB UTME cut-off mark from FULAFIA Officials. However, to improve your admission chances:

2. Mass Communication (MC)


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Mass Communication (MC) department.

  • any four (4) other subjects in Arts or Social Sciences.



3. French


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the French department.
