Cooperative societies are helpful organizations in every nation especially Nigeria. these societies help to lessen the socio ” economic and cultural problems facing people in Nigeria.

There is therefore the need for these organizations to function well in order to be able to solve the above mentioned needs of people in a society.

There are basically steps that are to be taken in order to organize and establish cooperative societies that function efficiently.

This work is concerned with how to organize a viable cooperative society using Igbo ” Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State.
