To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Building Technology (BT) department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:


  • Mathematics,


  • English Language,


  • Physics, Chemistry and


  • any one of


  • Geography, Economics, Arts and Technical drawing.

To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:


  • English Language


  • Mathematics


  • Any two (2) subjects from: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Agricultural Science / Health Science


  • Any other two (2) relevant subjects (Technical Drawing, Metal / Wood Work, Basic Electricity, Geography, Further Mathematics, and Fine Art)



Glass / Ceramics Technology


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Glass / Ceramics Technology department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:


  • Biology/Agricultural Science/Mathematics,


  • Physics,


  • Chemistry and


  • any two others from:


  • Biology/Agricultural Science, Woodwork,


  • Metalwork, Technical/Engineering Drawing,
