Admission Requirements for Nigerian Languages When Accredited in Kaduna State University (KASU)


O’Level Requirements


To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Nigerian Languages department under Faculty of Arts and Humanities, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:


  • English Language,


  • Literature in English,


  • any other three (3) subjects from Arts and Social Sciences.


JAMB Subject Combination


  • Use of English,


  • Literature in English,


  • one other Arts subject and


  • another Arts or Social Science subject.


KASU Cut-Off Mark for Nigerian Languages


The general UTME cut-off mark is 180, but due to the variation of Nigerian Languages cut-off mark depending on the admission year and competition level, we suggest you enquire about the recent JAMB UTME cut-off mark from KASU Officials. However, to improve your admission chances:


  • Aim for 180+ score.


  • Perform well in Post-UTME screening.
