O’Level Requirements
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Applied Physics department under Faculty of Science, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Urban and Regional Planning (URP) department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:
Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Government, Biology, Art, History, IRK/CRK, Social Studies and Tech Drawing.
7. Chemical Engineering Technology
To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Chemical Engineering Technology department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:
Biology/Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Woodwork (for Civil Engineering Tech.), Further Mathematics, Geography and Economics / Commerce.
For Marine Engineering and Industrial Safety & Environmental Engineering a pass in Biology is required.
