Admission Requirements for Cyber Security When Accredited in Lagos State University of Science and Technology


O’Level Requirements


To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Cyber Security department under Faculty of Data and Decision Sciences, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

LASUSTECH Cut-Off Mark for Cyber Security


The general UTME cut-off mark is 180, but due to the variation of Cyber Security cut-off mark depending on the admission year and competition level, we suggest you enquire about the recent JAMB UTME cut-off mark from LASUSTECH Officials. However, to improve your admission chances:

To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Fisheries Technology department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:


  • Biology / Agricultural Science,

  • any other Science subject.



2. Mechanical Engineering Technology


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Mechanical Engineering Technology department.


  • English Language,


  • Mathematics,


  • Physics, Chemistry and


  • any one subject from:


  • Biology/Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Woodwork (for Civil Engineering Tech.), Further Mathematics, English Language, Geography and Economics/Commerce


  • For Marine Engineering and Industrial Safety & Environmental Engineering a pass in Biology is required.
