Admission Requirements for Educational Management When Accredited in Lagos State University of Science and Technology


O’Level Requirements


To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Educational Management department under Faculty of Education, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:


  • Level NTC/NBC credit passes, or


  • TC II merit including,


  • English Language,


  • Level pass in Mathematics, and


  • any other relevant subject.


JAMB Subject Combination


  • Use of English, and


  • any three (3) subjects.


LASUSTECH Cut-Off Mark for Educational Management


The general UTME cut-off mark is 180, but due to the variation of Educational Management cut-off mark depending on the admission year and competition level, we suggest you enquire about the recent JAMB UTME cut-off mark from LASUSTECH Officials. However, to improve your admission chances:


  • Aim for 180+ score.


  • Perform well in Post-UTME screening.

1. Accountancy


To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Accountancy department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:


  • English Language,


  • Mathematics,


  • Economics and any other two (2) relevant subjects.


  • For NBC holders, the other two (2) relevant subjects could be from any of


  • Principles of Accounts, Commerce, Office Practice and Secretarial Duties.



2. Marketing (MKT)


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Marketing (MKT) department.


  • English Language,


  • Mathematics and


  • any three (3) relevant subjects.

To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Hospitality Management department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:
