Admission Requirements for Environmental Technology When Accredited in Lagos State University of Science and Technology

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Mechanical Engineering Technology department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:


  • English Language,


  • Mathematics,


  • Physics, Chemistry and


  • any one subject from:


  • Biology/Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Woodwork (for Civil Engineering Tech.), Further Mathematics, English Language, Geography and Economics/Commerce


  • For Marine Engineering and Industrial Safety & Environmental Engineering a pass in Biology is required.



2. Architectural Technology


To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Architectural Technology department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:


  • English Language,


  • Mathematics,


  • Physics and


  • any two subjects from:


  • Biology, Fine Art, Chemistry, History, English Language, Geography, Further Mathematics, Economics / Commerce, Religious Knowledge, Technical Drawing and Business Method.


  • At least a pass in Fine Art or Technical Drawing.

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Urban and Regional Planning (URP) department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
