To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Horticultural Technology department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:

3. Building Technology (BT)
To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Building Technology (BT) department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:
Geography, Economics, Arts and Technical drawing.
For holders of NTC, the other relevant subjects could be; Intro. to Building Construction, Bricklaying, Concreting, Walls, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Building / Engineering Drawing, Joinery, Carpentry, Gas, Steam Work and Bronze Welding, Cold / Hot Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage.
4. Computer Engineering
To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Computer Engineering department.
5. Mechatronics Engineering Technology
To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Mechatronics Engineering Technology department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:
and any one other subject from:
Biology / Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work,
Woodwork (for Civil Engineering Tech.), Further Mathematics, English Language, Geography and Economics / Commerce.
6. Mechanical Engineering Technology
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Mechanical Engineering Technology department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
Biology/Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Woodwork (for Civil Engineering Tech.), Further Mathematics, English Language, Geography and Economics/Commerce
For Marine Engineering and Industrial Safety & Environmental Engineering a pass in Biology is required.
7. Quantity Surveying (QS)
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Quantity Surveying (QS) department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
any of Fine Art, Geography or Wood Work, Biology, Economics, Technical Drawing, Further.
