Admission Requirements for Management When Accredited in Lagos State University of Science and Technology


O’Level Requirements


To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Management department under Faculty of Administration, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

  • Economics,


  • plus any two (2) of


  • Accounting, Business Methods, Commerce, Government, Geography, and Statistics.

LASUSTECH Cut-Off Mark for Management


The general UTME cut-off mark is 180, but due to the variation of Management cut-off mark depending on the admission year and competition level, we suggest you enquire about the recent JAMB UTME cut-off mark from LASUSTECH Officials. However, to improve your admission chances:


  • Aim for 180+ score.


  • Perform well in Post-UTME screening.

1. Business Administration


To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Business Administration department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:


  • English Language,

2. Banking and Finance (BF)


To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Banking and Finance (BF) department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:

  • English Language (not Literature in English)

  • two (2) other relevant subjects.



3. Insurance


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Insurance department.
