Admission Requirements for Vocational Education When Accredited in Lagos State University of Science and Technology
O’Level Requirements
To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Vocational Education department under Faculty of Education, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
Agricultural Technical Education:
Geography / Physics or Mathematics, Economics plus one (1) of Literature in English, History, Government, Geography / Physics, Chemistry and Physics or TC Grade II.
Home Economics:
and any two (2) of Management, Biology, Chemistry, and Clothing and Textiles.

The general UTME cut-off mark is 180, but due to the variation of Vocational Education cut-off mark depending on the admission year and competition level, we suggest you enquire about the recent JAMB UTME cut-off mark from LASUSTECH Officials. However, to improve your admission chances:

1. Leisure and Tourism Management
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Leisure and Tourism Management department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
one Basic Science subject and
Economics/Commerce, History, Book Keeping Principles of Accounting, Mathematics, Fine Arts, French Language, Government, Food and Nutrition, Nigerian Language, Home Economics
A credit pass in Mathematics is compulsory.
2. Art and Design
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Art and Design department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

3. Mass Communication (MC)
To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Mass Communication (MC) department.
