Admission Requirements for Adult and Continuing Education When Accredited in Lagos State University (LASU)


O’Level Requirements


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Adult and Continuing Education department under Faculty of Education.

  • any three (3) of


  • Literature in English, History, French, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Studies, Geography / Physics, Economics and Government.


  • For TC II with pass in English Language and


  • four (4) other subjects.

  • Use of English,


  • Government / History,


  • one (1) Social Science subject and


  • any other subject.


LASU Cut-Off Mark for Adult and Continuing Education


The general UTME cut-off mark is 180, but due to the variation of Adult and Continuing Education cut-off mark depending on the admission year and competition level, we suggest you enquire about the recent JAMB UTME cut-off mark from LASU Officials. However, to improve your admission chances:

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Education and English Language department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
