Information and Communication technology has really improved the performance of the Nigerian stock exchange. This study aimed at exploring or exposing the ways through which information and communication technology facilitate the growth and development of the Nigerian stock exchange as a whole. However, for detailed and systematic chapters. Chapter one opens up by introducing the topic of the research, starting the problems that prompted to the study, the objectives of the study, the purpose of the study, the research question e.t.c. To achieve the object of the study, related literatures on the stock market were reviewed as expressed in chapter two.
A questionnaire was designed after conducting preliminary survey of the branch of the Nigeria stock exchange chosen for the case study. A sample size was determined in order to ascertain the copies of questionnaire to be administered. A total number of Hundred and twenty (120) were administered and hundred and three (103) were returned. Finally, through the operators and performance of the Nigerian stock exchange today, we can believe that NSE has benefited from the strength of information and technology. This conclusion and recommendation were made based on the research findings as stated in chapter five.
