O’Level Requirements


To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Industrial Design department under Faculty of Engineering / Technology, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

  • Fine Art,


  • Mathematics,


  • Chemistry and


  • any one (1) from: Spinning, Weaving, Surface Design and Printing, Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing, Ceramics, Graphic Design, Graphic Printing, Decorative Painting, Spray Painting, Lining, Sign and Design, Wall Hanging, Colour Mixing / Matching and Glazing, Building / Engineering Drawing and General Wood Work.


JAMB Subject Combination


  • Use of English,


  • Chemistry,


  • Mathematics and


  • Fine Arts / Physics.


OAU Cut-Off Mark for Industrial Design


The general UTME cut-off mark is 180, but due to the variation of Industrial Design cut-off mark depending on the admission year and competition level, we suggest you enquire about the recent JAMB UTME cut-off mark from OAU Officials. However, to improve your admission chances:
