SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

English Language
Mathematics
Any two (2) subjects from: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Agricultural Science / Health Science
Any other two (2) relevant subjects (Technical Drawing, Metal / Wood Work, Basic Electricity, Geography, Further Mathematics, and Fine Art)

Civil Engineering Technology

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Civil Engineering Technology department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:

English Language,
Mathematics,
Physics, Chemistry and
any one other subject from:
Biology/Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Woodwork (for Civil Engineering Tech.), Further Mathematics, English Language, Geography and Economics/Commerce.
For Marine Engineering and Industrial Safety & Environmental Engineering a pass in Biology is required.

To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Mechanical Engineering Technology department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

English Language,
Mathematics,
Physics, Chemistry and
any one subject from:
Biology/Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Woodwork (for Civil Engineering Tech.), Further Mathematics, English Language, Geography and Economics/Commerce

Welding and Fabrication Technology

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Welding and Fabrication Technology department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

Mathematics,
Physics,
Chemistry and
any two subjects from:
Biology/Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Woodwork (for Civil Engineering Tech.), Further Mathematics, English Language, Geography, Economics/Commerce.

Quantity Surveying (QS)

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Quantity Surveying (QS) department.

English Language,

any of Fine Art, Geography or Wood Work, Biology, Economics, Technical Drawing, Further.
