To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Civil Engineering Technology department under Faculty of Engineering / Technology, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

Biology/Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Woodwork (for Civil Engineering Tech.), Further Mathematics, English Language, Geography and Economics/Commerce.
For Marine Engineering and Industrial Safety & Environmental Engineering a pass in Biology is required.
JAMB Subject Combination
Physics/Technical Drawing or Chemistry,
and any other relevant subject.
