Project Proposal Guideline for Applied Science Students
Final year Applied Science project topics under the Faculty of Engineering / Technology are designed to address real-world challenges by developing research topics that aim to eliminate or significantly reduce existing system inefficiencies. The main and optional sections for writing a Applied Science project proposal are outlined below:
The major sections of a research project on Applied Science include the motivation behind the study, a brief background of the topic, a clear statement of the problems being addressed, the overall aim of the research, specific objectives that guide the study, and the significance, which outlines who will benefit from the research and in what way.
Additionally, elective sections may involve the research methodology used to carry out the study, as well as relevant research questions and hypotheses that help shape and focus the investigation.
