To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Quantity Surveying (QS) department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

  • English Language,

  • Mathematics,

  • Chemistry and

  • any of Fine Art, Geography or Wood Work, Biology, Economics, Technical Drawing, Further. Mathematics, Introduction to Building Construction, Bricklaying / Block laying, Concreting, Wall, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Joinery, Carpentary, Decorative Painting, Lining, Sign and Design, Wall Hanging, Colour Mixing / Matching and Glazing, Ceramics, Graphics Design, Graphic Printing, Basic Electricity.

Applied Biology and Genetics

To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Applied Biology and Genetics department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:

  • English Language,

  • Biology,

  • Mathematics,

  • Chemistry and

  • any one (1) of

  • Health Science,

  • Statistics,

  • Physics and Geography.

Mechanical Engineering

SSCE Requirements
