  • For holders of NTC, the relevant subjects could be


  • General Wood work, Building / Engineering Drawing, Introduction to Building Construction, Decorative Painting, Spray Painting, Lining, Sign and Design, Wall hanging, Colour Mixing / Matching and Glazing,


  • Printing Origination, Machine Printing and Finishing, General Metal Work, Basic Electricity, Spinning, Weaving, Surface Design and Printing, Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing, Graphic Design, Graphic Printing and Ceramics.


JAMB Subject Combination


  • English language,


  • Fine Arts and


  • two (2) other Arts subjects or Social Science subjects.


RSU Cut-Off Mark for Creative Arts


The general UTME cut-off mark is 180, but due to the variation of Creative Arts cut-off mark depending on the admission year and competition level, we suggest you enquire about the recent JAMB UTME cut-off mark from RSU Officials. However, to improve your admission chances:


  • Aim for 180+ score.


  • Perform well in Post-UTME screening.

Religious Studies

Literature In English


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Literature In English department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:


  • Literature in English,


  • English Language and


  • any other three (3) relevant subjects.



English Language


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the English Language department.


  • English Language,


  • Literature in English, and


  • any other three (3) Arts/Social Science subjects.



Educational Administration and Planning


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Educational Administration and Planning department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:


  • English Language,


  • Mathematics and


  • Economics.



Adult and Community Education


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Adult and Community Education department.


  • English Language,


  • Mathematics,


  • any three of


  • Literature in English,


  • History, French, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa,


  • CRK, Islamic Studies, Economics,
