To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Technical Education department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

  • Mathematics or NTC/NBC,

  • English Language and

  • any three (3) relevant subjects.

Quantity Surveying (QS)

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Quantity Surveying (QS) department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

  • English Language,

  • Mathematics,

  • Physics,

  • Chemistry and

  • any of Fine Art, Geography or Wood Work, Biology, Economics, Technical Drawing, Further. Mathematics, Introduction to Building Construction, Bricklaying / Block laying, Concreting, Wall, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Joinery, Carpentary, Decorative Painting, Lining, Sign and Design, Wall Hanging, Colour Mixing / Matching and Glazing, Ceramics, Graphics Design, Graphic Printing, Basic Electricity.

Mechanical Engineering

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Mechanical Engineering department.

  • Physics,

  • English Language

  • Chemistry, and

  • any two (2) other relevant Science subjects.

Home Science and Management

SSCE Requirements

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Home Science and Management department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:

  • Biology / Agricultural Science,

  • Chemistry, Mathematics and

  • at least ‘O’ Level pass in English Language and Physics

  • plus any of

  • General Wood Work, Building / Engineering Drawing, Furniture Design and Construction, Upholstery Design and Construction, Spinning,

  • General Metal Work, Spray Painting and Period Furniture, Weaving, Surface Design and Printing, Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing and Basic Electricity.

To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Physiology department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
