O’Level Requirements
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Archaeology department under Faculty of Arts and Humanities, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
any one from the following subjects, Religious Studies, Geography, Economics and History.
JAMB Subject Combination
any two (2) subjects from
Arts, Social Sciences and
one of History, Religious Studies, Government and Geography.

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Hausa department.

To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Arabic Studies department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

3. History
To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the History department.
Any other two (2) relevant Social Sciences or Arts subjects.
4. English Language

Literature in English, and

5. Islamic Studies
To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Islamic Studies department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:
