O’Level Requirements
To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Education and Accountancy department under Faculty of Education.
Any other two (2) relevant subjects

Other SSU Social Science Courses with their Requirements
1. Political Science
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Political Science department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
at least a pass in Mathematics, and
three (3) other subjects.
2. Guidance and Counselling
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Guidance and Counselling department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
‘O’ Level pass in Mathematics, and
any three other relevant subjects.
3. Sociology
To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Sociology department.
four (4) other Social Sciences/Arts subject.
4. Economics
To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Economics department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:
any two (2) of Arts or Social Science subjects.
5. Educational Management
To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Educational Management department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
Level NTC/NBC credit passes, or
Level pass in Mathematics, and
any other relevant subject.
